Parker Receiving & Design Services is seeking an experienced White Glove Delivery & Installation Project Lead to oversee high-end furniture deliveries and installations for Charleston’s top interior designers and discerning clients.

This is not traditional moving work. This is precision logistics and professional installation in luxury environments. This role requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing 75+ lbs. throughout the shift.

You’ll be trusted with high-value furniture, rugs, artwork, antiques, and designer pieces, delivering and installing them in some of the most beautiful spaces in the Charleston area — including multi-million dollar homes, museums, and luxury properties.

If you have experience in moving, delivery, installation, or logistics, and you take pride in doing things the right way, this is a role where your work is respected — and your skill matters.

What You’ll Do:

You are responsible for the job from departure to completion, including:

· Drive and operate company vehicles (Sprinter vans, box trucks, etc.)

· Load, blanket-wrap, protect, and transport high-end furnishings with care

· Coordinate job execution and lead the crew when 2+ team members are needed

· Assemble and install furniture onsite (and troubleshoot when necessary)

· Place items accurately based on designer direction and client expectations

· Communicate professionally with designers, homeowners, and clients

· Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure items are staged, prepped, and ready

· Maintain safety standards and protect clients’ property at every step

· You are the face of the company to the client.

What We’re Looking For:

This role is ideal for someone who is:

· Experience in white-glove, fine art handling, antique handling, or high-end residential moving preferred

· Confident leading a job and setting the tone for the crew

· Calm under pressure and good at problem-solving in the field

· Skilled with:
            -Blanket-wrapping & protection techniques
            -Dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, straps, etc.
            -Careful packing, staging, and loading practices

· Must be able to lift and move 75+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.

· Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in professional work

· Communicates clearly and confidently with designers, homeowners, and estate managers

· Understands discretion, respect for property, and situational awareness in luxury settings

· Able to pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record.

Schedule & Travel

· Full-time, 40 hours/week

· No weekends

· Most jobs are within 50 miles of Charleston

· Occasional out-of-state trip

Pay & Benefits

· $20–$30/hour (based on experience)

This role is designed to grow into an Operations Lead position. The right candidate will work directly with ownership and play a key role in shaping team standards, training new hires, and building systems as the company expands.
